El Mezcal Mexican - Owensboro

I have been to many Mexican restaurants here in Owensboro, and this is by far the best! Authentic food and it all taste so amazing! Staff is friendly and all around a great experience!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT!The food is delicious, but I expected nothing less from Ernesto. The restaurant is well lit and clean. The prices are reasonable, especially since they are generous with the portion sizes of the meals. I was able to get my fill at the restaurant and had enough leftover to take home for lunch the next day. And it was good reheated too.

Great tacos and service. Food was fresh and reasonably priced. I think the owner caved to the local expectation that chips and salsa be served (for free) and a full menu be provided. The core competency here is tacos/burritos, which are the best in town.

Small place, big flavor. Ernesto always makes sure his customers are satisfied and the service is always friendly. So glad him and his food are back in Owensboro. It's our top pick when we want great Mexican food!

Great food, great atmosphere, and they even sing to you while you eat! It was kinda uncomfortable at first, cause I don't like to be bothered while I eat, but it's pretty cool to have someone sing just for you. I love this place, I just wish it was closer to me, it's 29 miles away. But that don't stop me from going there!!
