Scorpion Brewing - Owings

The staff here is fantastic, the drinks are great, and the atmosphere is wonderful, making for a fun experience overall. We enjoyed some excellent jazz music performed by the group Magic Ray Jazz. I highly recommend this place for a relaxed outing with friends.

They do an excellent job of maintaining social distancing. You can enjoy some beers from Hahn. The staff is very friendly. Thursday evenings offer a wider selection of dining options and live music, making it a bit more enjoyable. All seating is outdoors, accompanied by some parasols for shade.

We happened to pass by and noticed the sign, so we decided to stop in, and I'm really glad we did. Although I'm not a big beer drinker, I enjoyed the two varieties I tried. The entire staff was incredibly welcoming, and the owner took the time to sit down with us and explain the beer-making process right on site. He also shared some interesting information about local partnerships, which was really cool.

So they say that holy water must be blessed by a priest, well after tasting the beer coming from this brewery, it is more than holy. I feel like I could walk on an ocean of this stuff, drink, find my way to the temple. I'm more than happy. The food options they offer in food trucks are exceptional. Definitely feels like the star of Bethlehem for Calvert County.

Scorpion is an amazingly good brewery to have great beer with friends! The selection is always top notch with a good variety of beers no matter your preference. They top it off by having excellent partnerships with farms and area food trucks for excellent meals too. Lastly, they have musical acts, trivia, and other special events!
