The interior is beautifully decorated with old copper pots hanging and old framed photos. Unfortunately, the service we received was not up to par. The waiter seemed rushed but it took us 2 hours to receive our food and coffee. Despite the restaurant having two rooms, we were seated in the first room directly under the air conditioning vent, making it uncomfortably cold. When my pizza was finally ready, the waiter took multiple trips to deliver it to our table, resulting in it being served lukewarm. Overall, our experience was disappointing as the quality of service greatly impacted our meal. A full menu costs around 15 pounds, with weekday offers available.
My experience at Bella Italia restaurant in Oxford for lunch was mixed. The decor was beautiful, with ancient copper pots hanging and old framed photographs. However, the service was disappointing. The server was in a rush and refused to give us our change, and let our food sit at the bar for five minutes before bringing it to our table. This is a common issue in chain restaurants that rely on inexperienced servers, such as students who may not care as much about the quality of service. The dessert options also seemed limited, with a limited availability even though the restaurant was not busy. The price for a full menu was 15 pounds per person.
We visited a lovely Italian restaurant in Oxford for lunch, conveniently located near the Corn Market. The decor was charming, with old copper pots and framed photos adorning the walls. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by the poor service we received. The server seemed rushed but took an excessively long time to bring out our food, taking two hours for just a plate and a coffee. We were seated in a room directly under the air conditioning vent, making for an uncomfortable dining experience. Despite mentioning my discomfort, the server did not make any effort to improve the situation. When my pizza finally arrived, it had clearly been sitting out for some time. Ultimately, the quality of a meal at this restaurant seems to depend largely on the individual serving you, and in this case, it was a letdown. The full menu was priced at 15 pounds, with offers available during the week.
