Shezan Oxford

We went to the restaurant at the right time and we were told that there was no reservation on our name. When we showed them the email we had, they told us there is nothing they can do as all tables are already occupied and we would have to go somewhere else. No explanationadjustments were offered and I consider it highly unprofessional.We couldn't dine there but the restaurant "signed us in" anyway on opentable

Fabulous food! really one of the best indian food I ever had!The host was gracious and made us feel welcomed. The appetizers were delicious, but bit small for my taste and appetite:had the butter chicken which was fantastic. Ate every bit of it using the delicious garlic nan as tool

Waiter was uninterested and seemed rather put out to have to serve customers. Food was hot but had no real flavour or seasoning. Overall a poor experience. Have eaten here previously when the owner was there and a far better evening was had

The restaurant informed me on the day that it was closed in the afternoon for the booking which I made

Excellent find. Will definitely be back on our next trip to Oxford
