The Punter - Oxford

I visited this restaurant for a birthday lunch. We started with the vegan feta salad, followed by the tofu with satay and the mushroom burger with rye bread. The flavors were absolutely delightful! I highly recommend this restaurant. The service was attentive and relaxed. I can't wait to return and try more vegan dishes from the menu.

At the last moment decided to go to the punter for the first time for several yrs. both enjoyed net (mushroom burger hot acid pfeffer curry) with 175 ml weep. early with the time that at 7:30 a.m. place full (on Tuesday eve) with... especially 30 voices a fine fox-terrier, drink something / eat something. several stopped hitting larger tables. good energy. nice staff. very acceptable eating.

This is an excellent restaurant that seamlessly combines a casual pub atmosphere with high-quality dining. Our group of 10, including both meat-eaters and vegetarians, was pleasantly surprised to find a variety of delicious vegan options that satisfied everyone. The diverse menu features dishes inspired from around the world, with the chef creating inventive and original meals, as well as unique takes on vegetarian classics like the katsu veggie burger. Every dish was beautifully presented and a treat for both the eyes and taste buds. The staff were efficient, friendly, and warmly accommodated our group's raucousness. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning - you won't be disappointed.

We went back a few years to the punter (prepared) and we are back in the last weeks twice. we were pleased to see that it had not changed and the atmosphere and character created by the current peculiarities is still intact. it is. a very attractive building both inside and outside, and it was equipped with an individual rustic charm that gives the pub a beautiful feeling of warmth and welcome. the personal is very friendly and relaxed and eating that is all vegetarian is absolutely excellent. our children are vegetarian as well as great to go in such a beautiful pub and get first class vegetarian cuisine. highly recommended.

I was impressed with the variety of options on the menu, especially as someone who typically prefers meat dishes. The vegan and vegetarian choices were appealing to me. The ambiance was relaxed and cozy, especially on a winter night. The service was quick and friendly. The portions were surprisingly large, with my parmesan truffle fries and burrata tagliatelle being particularly satisfying. My girlfriend, who is vegan, enjoyed her katsu sweet potato burger. I wish I had taken more time to ask about the draft beer options instead of opting for Amstel. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant and would give it a 6-star review if possible.
