Bottletree Bakery - Oxford

Rude service sign on door said they closed at noon. It was around 11, so we paid for 1 hr on parking meter. We intended to eat at the bakery get a box of goodies for my daughter to take back to her dorm to share w/ the girls on her hall. The staff acted like they didn?t want to serve us?? I asked if they were closed, she said no. I asked about getting a drink w/ my bagel that seemed an inconvenience to her so, I asked for water she motioned for me to get a

Ham and Swiss croissant was absolutely amazing, crispy outside and the best warm yummy inside! Got an iced dirty chai, very good. All the employees were so kind!!

4.5 stars. Cute little bakery with a nice vintage eclectic vibe. The selection covered all the bases, but I wouldn't consider it extensive: bread, bagels, breakfast biscuits, croissants and other pastries. They also have a variety of drinks including coffee, hot chocolate, and fancy juices. My food was excellent, except the bacon egg and cheese biscuit was somewhere between room temperature and warm. The food was absolutely delicious. The croissants were probably the best I've had in our state. It has a quaint atmosphere in an older, restored building. They still have an old soda fountain bar.
