Fergndans Wood Fired Pizza Cafe

I ordered a pizza and waited 20 minutes for it to be ready, only to spend an additional 10 minutes driving there, only to find out they were missing one of the pizzas I ordered. They didn't even try to call the number on my order to explain the situation or offer me any options; instead, I was left waiting until I arrived just to hear, "Oh, sorry, what do you want?" To make matters worse, when I got home, I discovered that the other pizza was burned. I suppose that’s fine if you enjoy charred crust. Overall, my experience was disappointing, and I won't be returning. Their business practices are terrible! It’s no surprise there was only one other customer there.

We enjoyed a lovely dinner on the porch in October, surrounded by changing leaves and the pleasant scent of wood smoke. Your pizza, particularly the crust, is absolutely delicious. We are always happy to come here whenever we visit Oxford.

The staff was incredibly friendly and courteous! They informed us that the wait time would be quite long due to the weekend crowd of city football fans, which made them quite busy. The pizza was excellent, and the salad was even better. We ordered the paprika pizza, the market pizza, the simply salad, and the Marcher pizza, which wasn't as impressive. However, the other pizzas were fantastic overall!

Stopped in the city of a motorcycle ride sat at the hotel reading the reviews I thought there was a shot, I was not disappointed, this place is fabulous. highly recommended, you need to stop.

About 9pm on Sept 14,2019, my sister, her daughter and I were nearly home. Our mother had died in Tupelo that afternoon and we had not eaten and were starved. I was so grateful Ferndale was nowhere from my place. I went in, ordered and sat down to wait for my sister and her daughter to arrive and the food to be prepared. It finally clicked, they were closing for the night. However, when I explained why we were there so late, they were so gracious( they never even mentioned they were closing when I came in). Tonight I was out later than usual with a friend and stopped at Fergndans to grab a pizza-it was a little after 8pm. I walked in, ordered, sat down, and once again I was being waited on at closing. All were so sweet. They now close at 8pm because of covid. I like Fergndans!! Great Food!! Great Folks! Kudos!!
