Hollow Earth Brewery - Oxford

I had a great experience with the 1000 Points of Light Citrus IPA; it's definitely a beer that screams summer. The Kurant Bees cedar (which is not brewed on-site) added a nice dry touch. The boiler chips were thick, though they could have been fresher. Overall, it's worth a visit!

Let me first say that if you like craft breweries, then you really need to plan a visit to this shop. We passed on this brewery when we went through the city on our way home. We found street parking and were warmly welcomed when we were in the sunny dining room. I think what we found so amazing was what a big deal they had developed in such a small space. The long bar was beautiful stainless steel with a view of the compact kitchen and the brewing tanks. We tried four of the beers offered and liked the flavors of each and the creative glassware. We were surprised by the quality of their food selection. The fish tacos were really fresh and full of taste. The Panini was a beautiful combination of crisp bread and delicate pork. Her potato chip nachos were a really delicious contrast of crisp, handmade potato chips and cheese fondue with spicy fresh jalapenos. The owner was wise to rent a well-trained and experienced cook. Our servers were happy and pleasant to speak while we enjoyed their beers. This is the place where small towns thrive. I look forward to coming back and tasting their new brews. You did a fantastic job with the establishment! The beer is outstanding, and it's clear that a lot of passion goes into every type of brew. I can say the same for the chef—the food is incredibly tasty and perfectly suited for what you need at the bar. Keep it up!

The food and beer are outstanding and have a unique flair. I was served by Christina and Miranda, who were both incredibly sweet and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place—10/10! I'm looking forward to returning to see these two lovely ladies again!
