Tried a chicken burrito. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I'd really like a burrito with shredded and marinated chicken instead of chopped. The chicken was tender and shredded on its own and thank you...not a bite of fat. I tried their three salsas and loved them all. I couldn't stop using the green salsa on my burrito because it was so good. The burrito was huge and the tortilla is very pliable and nice. I had chicken, rice, beans (refried), cheese, sour cream...comes with pico inside. I couldn't eat it all. Lunch next day, I reheated my burrito and decided to try the red salsa and OMG!!! I'm in heaven. I can taste garlic in the red sauce and it has a nice kick, but added to my burrito it was phenomenal together. The place is clean and service is nice. The female spoke to me in English saving me the pain from trying to order my food in Spanglish (very broken Spanish). The burrito was served with veggies and I love that. No Diet Coke there, ran to the liquor store across the street for DC. It's located in El Rio, I never felt any less than safe. My friend bought a asada burrito. He rated it a 7 out of 10, but grilling him further on what he based that score on he said he pretty much rates all burritos a 7 because it's hard to mess them up. Ah...excuse me (my head must have spun around twice)...he is obviously NOT a burrito eater because they can be screwed up easily. Not sure if you want his review on his burrito. I'd give my burrito an 8 1/2 or 9. Cost was $23 with a coke and extra cheese.
Was passing through Oxnard. Had the best Carne asada tacos! Tacos La Reyna are open til 1am. ?
I had a bad experience, found long curly hair in my tacos. I called them many times, never answered. Will not be going back.
First thing first the tacos here are bomb !!! We are from the San Fernando Valley and when we are out at the outlets we always have to stop for these tacos. I love the tripa tacos and the agua de horchata can't be beat ! Try the food you will not regret it. The huarache is soooo good too but honestly you can't go wrong with any of their food.
