I stumbled upon the Yankee Doodle Bakery while I was shopping at a farmer's market in Ojai. I knew exactly what I was looking for because my mom had recently brought home a package of their Mexican Wedding Cake cookies for us to try, and they were incredible! These are, without a doubt, the best cookies I've ever had! (Sorry, Mom!) Although I've had Mexican Wedding Cake cookies before, none can compare to the ones from this bakery. I don't often rave about desserts since I'm not easily impressed by baked goods, but this cookie is truly exceptional! I definitely plan to visit their store in Oxnard to stock up.

I bought bran muffins at the Ventura Farmers Market, and they are truly the best bran muffins I’ve ever tasted. The blend of honey, brown sugar, butter, whole wheat flour, bran, pineapple, and raisins is simply incredible. Wow! I highly recommend giving them a try.

At last, there’s a restaurant that serves gluten-free protein cake!
