The Farmer's Daughter Country Store

The Brunswick Stew was more like Brunswick Soup. It was mostly liquid that seemed to just be water instead of beef or chicken broth. It had very little meat in it appeared to be very small bits of only 1 type of meat. There were no lima beans the vegetables were chopped too small. Stew is supposed to be thick have lots of meat in it very little liquid! Stew seemed to be several different types of canned soups that were combined with lots of hot sauce. Really the Stew was simply vegetable soup in no way resembles a stew.

They are very good eats and the chicken went over well at my roommate office potluck.

I’ve eaten a lot of BBQ and this place was absolutely fabulous. I had slaw, baked beans and chicken rice on my plate also. Everything was fabulous. Thanks ladies.

Excellent food, hamburger, pork, huge baked potatoes. Make a stop there, turn around if you go past, lol !

On 3/19 I made my first visit to Farmer's Daughter Country Store. I went with a Friend Angie that visits often and decided I wanted to tag along. I had a great time and enjoyed my lunch. I also liked the visible indoor Beehive. I will definitely visit again.
