De Waal Wines - Paarl

This is the oldest pinotage vineyard in the world, and the view from the top of the hill is absolutely breathtaking. They offer a large selection of other varieties as well. We arrived around 10:00 AM when they opened, and we were welcomed with warm hospitality. I really enjoyed the wines and had an excellent conversation with the cellar manager, who shared her extensive knowledge about both the vineyard and its wines, despite it being a busy time of year for the winery during the "Crush" season.

This place is incredible and definitely worth a visit. I really enjoyed trying the different Pinotages and especially their Chenin Blanc. The host was quite interesting, and the tasting fee was very affordable. Most of the wines are reasonably priced, though the premium Pinotage is quite expensive—still, it's worth trying.

This is the oldest pinotage vineyard, and it offers some fantastic wines, including one from the historic vineyard. Helga is also an incredible source of information about the wines and the surrounding area. We learned a great deal and thoroughly enjoyed our tasting experience.

Best Pinotage Wines I have ever appreciated it. A certain must to visit.

This place is a hidden gem. Our host, Thembi was super friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the premium tasting which includes the Top of the hill pinotage, but my favorite was the Cab Sav. Overall a lovely experience.
