Feedback gevenI visited the restaurant last night and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, and I didn't have any issues the next day, which was fantastic. The woman at the counter was very accommodating; I had wanted my meal to come with mac and cheese, but they replaced it with fries instead, which I really enjoyed. Overall, it was a great place to eat, and my kids loved it too!
"They only have a drive-thru, and they never seem to get the order right. Tonight, they forgot to include cookies, napkins, and utensils for my meal. I had to go back and retrieve the missing items. Since the dining room was closed, I had to stand at the drive-thru window until someone finally assisted me. It took a while, and communication was minimal."
The service is decent, and the food is also satisfactory. My main complaint is that this location is not as good as Church’s Chicken used to be. The bread isn't as tasty, and the chicken is not as tender as it used to be. They also served a part of the chicken that I can't quite identify—I'm unsure whether to call it a bit, thigh, breast, etc. I initially thought it was just a one-off issue, but I found the same piece in the bucket I received today. I ordered the 12-piece special for $20 and paid an extra $6.99 to have mixed pieces instead of just thighs. However, I either received the wrong order or this unidentified piece was added to make it look like a mixed selection. I'm not sure which it is, but the pieces I got were mainly legs and wings, plus this mystery piece. (See picture.) On a positive note, I do love their biscuits, fried okra, and dirty rice.
The positive note was that I didn't have to wait long. the chicken was boiled in old oil, I paid for the great family meal, which should feed 8 to 10 people, and they gave us only enough sides for hardly two to three people every item. and my family is not great eater. total disappointment for our father's meal. I tried to let them know that they truncated us on the side, but no one would answer the phone, and you couldn't leave a message because she said that the post was full. this company owes me a big loan!
Had to wait forever in the drive thru line just to order because nobody wanted to talk in the intercom. I finally asked someone who was headed inside (lobby closed) if their intercom was working and he said he would let the drive thru worker know there was a line. As soon as I drive up to place my order they start saying let me make sure we still have chicken. Luckily they did but they were out of mashed potatoes. I got my food pretty fast after listening to the employees making throw up sounds behind the window. Got home most of my food seemed fresh but my serving of fries was enough for one of my kids to eat and was ice cold. Very disappointed
