The Riverhouse Nestucca - Pacific City

We drove two hours just to try out the Dungeness crab Mac and cheese and it was well worth it! We were sold before the dish even came out by the clam chowder! Highly recommend this place! Would drive there again!

We have been many times, just the two of us or a group. It’s simply the best restaurant in town. I’ve had crab ravioli, fish and chips, chicken and dumplings and many other dishes and never been disappointed. Wait staff is friendly and attentive. We will probably be back next weekend!

Very good food! The salmon was perfect. Clam chowder is awesome.

Every single person at our table said it was ranked at one of our top five meals of all time. Simply outstanding!

Charming spot with views of the river. Locally sourced menu, pretty well done. Only downside was that the tap water that is generously poured and backed up with a quart more is heavily chlorinated and really just about ruined my dinner. I have managed and owned restaurants before and the quality of each part of the dining experience should be considered. A filter added to the tap would be a small investment or having Earth 2O deliver would be pennies per customer to ensure a fine dining experience. Oh, maybe there were two downsides... When I mentioned this to the hostess she was snarky about it and said tastes fine to me! I tend to hold food service grudges so I probably will not return. Even though the food was pretty tasty.
