The Works - Pacific Grove

Charming little independent bookstore, gift shop, and coffee shop! It’s a popular spot among locals and a perfect place to discover the perfect book or a unique gift. There’s ample on-street parking, and it’s just a short walk to other delightful shops and restaurants in Pacific Grove.

I understand the reasoning behind not allowing drinks in the bookstore, but it can be a bit inconvenient. When I'm browsing and my coffee is ready, I end up having to wait to finish my drink before I can continue exploring. That said, the atmosphere is great, the drinks and food are delicious, and the service is friendly.

Very good coffee. Book store in the back is really good. You can work here if you can get a seat.
