Woodies - Paddock Wood

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The atmosphere was great, and they are very dog-friendly, which we appreciated. I tried the homemade tomato and chili soup and a roasted vegan cheese and tomato sandwich, both of which were delicious! My partner had the homemade burger and salad, and it looked just as fantastic. They also offer a variety of pie options, many of which we bought to enjoy at home later. The drinks menu was nice, though we only opted for water since it was such a hot day. The staff were incredibly friendly, and there are seating options both inside and outside. We’ll definitely be coming back!

A lovely café set in the beautiful surroundings of Paddocks Wood. It appears to be a family-run establishment, and everyone behind the counter—the chef and the young server—were incredibly friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the all-day vegan breakfast, a cheese-filled hugerami sandwich, and some tea, all of which were delicious. I give it four stars, reserving the fifth for those restaurants that are 100% vegan while maintaining a similar quality to this café.

I enjoyed the Indian afternoon tea, and it was incredible! It’s one of the best vegan afternoon teas I've ever had.

This restaurant is located in a small village kent. not easy to recognize as there is a rebuilt double house (somerset villa) it has some tables outside and the road is not too busy. there is an upper level adult only area that I loved, but the stairs are quite steep, so not for the sick station. we had a mezze of hummus; Mediterranean style salate with dill; filled and simple flat brote; falafels; a really beautiful castor; the only thing I wasn't excited was the quiche that reminded me of tcp, my partner said it was a smokey thing.

As soon as we walked in we felt welcomed and at home. The staff were delightful and cheerful. The menu was great and had green V's by everything vegan. We chose the vegan sausage roll lunch and marmite scone lunch along with a gingerbread vegan hot chocolate. They were quick to serve too. There was outdoor seating as well as indoor on two levels. What a great place.
