Al Roccolo - PADOVA

Very simple 'osteria ', which could do with a little uplift. On a clear day has a lovely view of the area below and Padova in the distance. Area is lovely for walks, before or after meal. Food is always good with attention for the local fruits and vegetables of the season. Sevice fast and efficient, and Sandro, I think owner, always very polite.

I know very well this area famous ofr chargrilled beef but in this restaurant there is a greater choice of menu, with cold and hot plates all of good quality and well presented. We turned up without reservation but the staff politely find us a place in a few minutes, very professional. Last but not least there is the view over 4 provinces....superb

We only stopped for a few drinks but it was a great view with good service but the whole place had a slightly abandoned feeling. The could do so much better if they cleaned everything up a little. Could, and should, do better with its location.

Great food and excellent wine card, impeccable . very kind personal service .the price quality ratio would have been good if there had not been 4 euro covered per person.

Beautiful panorama (but with this you do not eat). Traditional menu, with some deviation. Good gnomes, while the bread was old. the cost of dessert (6 euro) definitely exaggerated. More generally the prices here are affected by the height.
