They always seemed to have a free table at the front, from which you could watch the hustle and bustle of the market and the people who were using it. The drinks were reasonably priced and well made and you always got some good complimentary nibbles, (ie small prosciutto and mozzarella mini sandwiches). Service was very efficient and friendly. It was very popular with locals. Highly recommended.
The food is fresh and tasty. I would describe it as typical Italian in terms of the food and atmosphere. Good service and reasonable prices. I will definitely go back again.
The ambience is a traditional Italian Cafe. We had delicious cappuccinos overlooking the Market place. It was filled with locals that you just wanted to draw they were so unique. The waitstaff is friendly and very quick. The bar and chandeliers are gorgeous. The breakfast pastry's are very good. We did not have lunch, but the salads and sandwiches displayed looked tasty. You pay at the cashier at the door. You just tell her what you had and she tells you how much. Maybe if you have a proper meal they give you a bill but for coffees and pastry's we never got a bill and we have been many times. For people watching it is superb.
Relaxing, sit under the arcades of this beautiful square. the bar is discreet, with sufficient service and standard prices. difficult to find something that distinguishes it, in good or in evil.
Spritz based on bells, good but the service has just expired in front of the poor presentation of a singleprtion chip envelope in two. ham and mushroom sandwiches and tuna, delicious, good quality sandwich bread, soft. great location of outdoor tables, in the sun. Nice waiters.
