Kiosk Tadi serves the traditional Venetian finger food at its finest: try the polpette (breaded meatball made with meat or cod/fish) The tables are few, but if you prefer, you can lay down on the grass of riverside. The most impressing feature is the location itself. Padua is a city packed full of history, education, and a sparkling social life in narrow medieval streets surrounded by high buildings. Instead, the location of the kiosks gives you all of sudden the feeling of an open ceiling in the urban jungle. All around the kiosk skylight and air flow freely, gently pushed by the stream of the river, but also firmly anchored by the view of the Tadi bridge that gives the kiosk its name.
The Chiosco Tadi is located in one of the most charming place in the old part of Padova. It 's not a restaurant but it is a kiosk where you can taste excellent snacks typical of local Venetian tradition accompanied by a glass of wine or a good beer in the bottle. Ideal for a drink, away from the bustle typical of Piazza dei Signori or the Ghetto area, here you can discover one of the most fascinating part of the city. The polpette are made with meat or vegetables or baccalà. Perfect before dinner during spring-summer or the first part of autumn.
