Stein's Fish Chips - PADSTOW

The fish and chips here are absolutely delicious. All the chips are gluten-free, and they use gluten-free batter for the fish, which is cooked in a gluten-free fryer. They even offer gluten-free vinegar!

I wouldn't recommend this place. Honestly, you should consider going somewhere else. There are plenty of other places that offer gluten-free fish and chips, so try one of those instead. This was the first time I received my fish delivered in broken pieces rather than one whole battered fillet. While the fish was of good quality, the batter was quite bland. The chips were decent, but nothing special. My mother ordered the regular fish and chips, and her batter was undercooked. Just skip this restaurant.

Gluten-free options are available for both takeout and dine-in fish and chips. They use a separate fryer to prevent cross-contamination. This is the best fish and chips I’ve had since becoming gluten intolerant.

Don't be concerned. Honestly, I suggest trying another place. There are plenty of other restaurants that serve gluten-free fish and chips; consider visiting one of them. This was the first time I received my fish as broken chunks instead of a whole fillet. While the fish itself was decent, the batter was lacking in flavor. The chips were satisfactory, though. My mother frequently enjoys gluten-free options as well.
