Gulf Coast Connection Seafood Market

Stopped for lunch and had the oyster basket and it was the best. It was as close as you can get to being at the coast. Service was excellent also. Will be returning.

Raw seafood offerings 4.8/5 (rainbow trout, walleye, bass usually not avail here) Prepared foods 5/5 (gumbo, pick 2 3s, and fried v. Boiled) Best damn Cole Slaw ever! It is fresh and crunchy like it's supposed to be (other veggies and seasonings are in there too)!

The food was excellent today. I ordered the pick 2: catfish and gator. Mmmmmmm... Catfish, gator, slaw, and fries! Crispy on outside and great flavorful food. Great service and just a worthwhile experience. We took it home and enjoyed!!!!

My husband and I recently moved to Paducah and were recommended this restaurant and boy are we glad we went. We've been twice now, and our recommendation (if you're there as a restauarant rather than market is to get the boiled shrimp basket (you can switch out the sides . The boiled shrimp alone is worth giving the restaurant 5 stars. My husband was born and halfway raised in the Philippines and even he raves how comparable it is to the fresh seafood he ate there. It is a bit spicy, even the cocktail sauce was spicy (but really good, but I got the tartar sauce which was flavorful and mellow and complimented (cooled down the spice. From the two times we have gone, the sides have been okay/good and could use a little work, but given that this is a family restaurant and market it's understandable and not a big deal. (I'm also just a very picky lady Like I said, the boiled shrimp alone is worth 5 stars and the money, and they give a much better quality and quantity of meal than you can get at any chain restaurant (or even fast food restaurant for that matter. The staff are super friendly and attentive and will glady have a chat with you. They're great! Please go to this restaurant and support it!
