Hugo’s Mexican - Paducah

This is a great place to dine in. The atmosphere is awesome the service is great and the staff is very courteous. Me and my family eat here any time we are in the area. Their Cheesy Chicken and Rice is to die for.

The waitress was really friendly, spoke Spanish, and recommended great dishes from the menu—she was fantastic. The food was excellent, and I will definitely return. It felt like trivia night or something similar.

I would have given this place all 5 stars, but the atmosphere felt a bit unwelcoming. It might have been the time of day or the lack of background music, but it was hard to overlook. That said, the food was amazing! The margaritas were only $3, and I tried the Juanita special, which I absolutely loved! I've also ordered takeout before and was just as satisfied. The owners are great people, and I really hope they succeed.

The service is good and the restaurant is clean. The staff is friendly. I had cheese enchiladas and they were ok. The salsa is very bland and the rice was a little dry, but the beans were good. It's a decent place to grab lunch if you are shopping in the mall, but no place I would make a special trip to.
