The Perching Parrot - Paekakariki

I find the service is great, the coffee is great, sometimes the cooked food isn't amazing. I've had a few breakfasts here that I can't remember a good one

This cafe is laid-back and welcoming to families with children. I stopped in for a quick meal and the nachos hit the spot, although I thought it was a bit small for the price. The coffee was tasty, and I also enjoyed the muffin that I saved for my train ride home.

This is a regular brunch spot for us when we want to escape to the Coast. The food is consistently good (the eggs Montreal and French toast being favourites) and the coffee is great. The staff are always friendly and service always prompt even though it is invariably busy when we go up there. <br/ <br/ The Perching Parrot makes me wish I lived in Paekakariki so I could say it was my local.

Awesome coffee and service. Food looks awesome and funky chilled atmosphere....thought it couldn't get much better but hottest team on the coast too! You guys rock! The review people said I had to say more to give 5 stars so i'll also say how choice it is that there are batman comics to check out too. It's like heaven......although a bat mobile in site would probably top the comics! Oh, and as well as awesome coffee, choice service, good looking barista they top it off with tea total tea. My favorite tea ever. Always perfect for the days when my kidneys beg me to step away from tbe coffee! Awesome place guys. Definitely my new regular.....lucky you!

The delightful T took Me out for Brunch here recently<br/ I would definitely recommend it.<br/ <br/ We had a Big Breakfast (I cant remember its name)<br/ The Mushrooms were inspirational, I Love good Mushrooms,<br/ The Bacon and Sausages super (and I really do not like fatty bangers).<br/ <br/ I made a request to change a item on the list (fussy demanding Customer that I am) and it was done cheerfully, they even offered me more of another item which I was rapt by !<br/ <br/ Service, Super,<br/ Food, Great,<br/ Value, Just right<br/ Coffee, Really good.<br/ <br/ Conclusion, a easy, Automatic place to go back to<br/ I do recommend it for anyone passing Paekakariki.
