We opted to stay in the picnic area below Saud Beach Hotel and Resort as we were only from Cagayan and wanted a quick beach getaway for the occasion. Upon arrival, we were asked to pay an entrance fee and cottage fee by the guard, who informed us that the restaurant was only accessible to hotel guests. During lunchtime, realizing we had not brought our own food, my husband and I decided to visit a nearby restaurant. I approached the staff and asked if my family could dine at their establishment, and they graciously allowed us to do so. We were thankful for this accommodation, as it meant we didn't have to venture far from our cottage to find a place to eat. Overall, we had a great time celebrating Mother's Day at Saud Beach.
The food was delicious and the service was excellent, even though we weren't guests at the resort. The waiter was very helpful in recommending the best dishes to order. The restaurant also had a fantastic view of the beach.
We had lunch at this restaurant and had a great time. The atmosphere was relaxed, with no pressure to rush our order or vacate our table. The restaurant features quaint cabins by the beach. The food was delicious, especially the broccoli and fish dishes. It was also reasonably priced. The beach itself is amazing, perfect for a leisurely walk to work off some calories after your meal. Highly recommended!
Good for swim out after visiting other tourist spots along the way. absolutely free and open for everybody
This is my second time to visit Said Resto but on the first I wasn't able to eat seafoods that time as they told me that they ran out of it. Luckily they had stocks on my return...Tried the grilled prawns in butter, grilled squid and fish sinigang soup... Prawns were deliciously grilled, the squids were of the local smaller variant which had an amazing unique taste you can't get from anywhere in Manila, and the tangigue fish in the soup was very tender unlike the usual ones served in the metro. Expect prices to range from Php200 up depending on the dish, but can serve at least two persons. Prawns were at P350 per 3 big, big pieces, very reasonable. Would have loved to try the lobster at P850 per order but it seemed too extravagant already. And... do not forget the super bonus part, you get to see the Pagudpud beach at its finest. Amazing experience, I can't wait to go back here and stay longer as they also have a hotel.
