Mister Tater's Tater Shack - Pahrump

The place had three other customers and it took 40 minutes to get our food. The fish and chips tasted like it came from the frozen food section from Walmart. No seasoning whatsoever. When we asked for ketchup, we were given a bottle that was practically empty.

For almost 5 years my wife and I are regularly in cafe without problems until today. I was alone in the city and thought of an early dinner. I decided to try the rib-eye steak. bad decision! the steak was hard. the carrots were from one box; the gravy was like water and the texas toast was nothing but a hoagie roll in the half cut and roasted. I couldn't finish part of the meal. the icy tasted as if he came out of a dirty container and I couldn't drink it. I have expressed my concerns about my waiter and he was the most apologetic. I told him the problem was in the kitchen. when I paid the bill, I expressed my unmistakable (very polite) again and no effort was made to discuss it with no one, even if a floor guard stood at the rande of the chaplain. this was a very disappointing experience and let me ask if others who had problems were ignored. the two stars are for the service, since this is generally always very good. No wait to be seated, and quick to take our orders. Long wait for the food to arrive but worth it. Food was great and our waitress was very polite. I would go back. For the non smoker like me it was not overwhelming.

The food for the most part was good. My buddy got pancakes that werent cooked all the way through. Service was good. Right now they have a very limited menu
