It 's an OK experience. Definitely a convenient spot if staying at one of the nearby hotels, and wish to keep things simple, and have access to alcoholic beverages. Otherwise, not so sure I would place this at the top of my list for a weekend outing. Strangely, I found myself wishing they could turn up the volume on the music that was playing. Usually the total opposite of my wishes at other places. I could barely make out what song was playing. Lighting and atmosphere was a mixed bag of anything concrete. The spacious bar was more brightly lit than the dining room area, and the patrons were as diverse as they come. All ages and backgrounds. The most interesting group were those hanging out shooting pool, combo biker and studio- wrestling looking characters . The menu is frighteningly large. I never trust a sports bar that features an oversized list of way too many menu items. I think the menu had at least 4 full pages to it. My group ordered wings, so I didn 't have a chance to really experience the food side of this place. Wings were average. The bright spot of this visit involved the friendly and attentive service we received. Not sure if I will find myself here anytime soon but it was fun spending time with friends and taking in the scenery.
Great local place. It reminds me of the small corner bars that were in my neighborhood growing up, but with plenty of seats. The servers make you feel like a regular, even if it's been months or years since your last visit.
Stopped in here the other night for some food. It is a little sketchy looking from the outside and is very dark inside. The place could definitely use a little remodeling and maybe a window or two. The food was hit and miss with my group. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and was not impressed. First, the bun is absurdly large, which would be ok if the chicken was large enough to go with it, but it isnt. Instead, the massive bun really overwhelmed the buffalo chicken and you ended up tasting nothing but bun. Also, the chicken was overcooked and not saucy enough. Some of the things we ordered were good, such as the buffalo chicken tenders and onion rings, but the main courses could have been better. I would probably stop back to try some of the other food because the menu has a ton of options.
I ordered the Sicilian grinder and it came with 1 slice of cap, 1 slice of pepperoni, and 1 slice of salami on it. For a $10 sandwich I feel like that's just ridiculous. I was pretty disappointed.
