The menu features gyoza, bao buns, and curries, all with vegan options that are even better than the meat selections (coming from someone who usually eats fish). The staff is incredibly friendly, and the owner personally came over to highlight the vegan options available. The food is cooked to perfection, and instead of the usual prawn crackers, we were pleasantly surprised with wasabi peas. They even have a vegan dessert, the apple gyoza! Prices are reasonable, and they serve large cocktails that are discounted during certain hours.
I enjoyed the panko aubergine bao, but I wasn't impressed with the green gyoza, which seem to be a staple at many of the mid-range sushi places I've tried recently. The dipping sauce that came with them didn’t appeal to me either. Additionally, the menu wasn't clear that the main dishes don’t come with rice, and the waitress didn't mention this, so we had to order rice separately after our main courses arrived. I suppose I have high expectations since I eat a lot of Asian cuisine and my family can be quite particular.
