Mas Carbo - Palafolls

The restaurant is not that easy to find, but it is worth the search. It spands through a whole traditional catalan house: white walls, old wood furniture, wooden ceilings, multiple dinning rooms. Lovely. Cousine is also traditional: some oven cooked meat and -mostly- grilled meats. Few fish courses though, despite this is pretty close to the sea. Excellent quality for what you pay, so I definitely advice to go there if you happen to be in the area. Illustration: half grilled rabbit for 14,5€. Had been here once before and enjoyed it although the service was pretty chaotic. I called for a table for 2 they said fine when would you like to come I said 20 minutes time as we live nearby. The waitress said come in 30 minutes as we are quite busy we agreed. I got there exactly half an hour after the call she said oh you're a bit early can you wait 10 minutes we said ok. We were slightly time conscious as we had to collect friends from the airport 2 hours later. After waiting 25 minutes with no sign of a table we left even though there were plenty free tables. I have never seen such a badly managed front of house operation. The food is ok but not worth the hassle. We drove 5 minutes to Can Reverter ll we were seated straight away had a lovely lunch and got the airport on time.
