Bakers Square - Palatine

Love the pie here and try to stop by and eat in when I get back to the Chicago area. I hate to see this chain shrinking... Go and eat here. The food is also amazing not just the pie.

I had Honey glazed Salmon dinner with Cole slaw and Broccoli. The food was perfect. Lemon Supreme Pie for dessert. Yummy. I just got done complaining about poor food and poor service for the high prices. I was thankful for this great experience at a pretty decent price.

I came here in a large group (14 people) for a post-funeral gathering with a bunch of family and friends. The food was delicious and came out exactly as ordered. Despite there being only one server on shift at the time, we had excellent service! Our server, Brian, was incredible! His fun personality and sense of humor were much appreciated, especially at a time of sadness. It was wonderful to see management step in and help Brian and it all went quite smoothly! Extra shout-out to Brian for keeping my coffee flowing! Management was even so lovely as to mention that because it was National Pie Day, we would be eligible for a free slice of pie if we ordered an entree and drink! We all had a lovely time and a great meal filled with laughter and gratitude. Thank you Baker's Square! You made it possible for us to celebrate the life of our dearly departed in a manner that I'm sure she would have wanted.

Lunch was good. Not the greatest. Good service. I bought some cinnabon does not taste good. I don't know about the pies because I did not try them.

Service was not very good, primarily due to a single waitress that tried to handle all tables. Waited quite a long time to be served. Food was lukewarm. I remember Bakers Square 30 years ago, and this is definitely not the same. In the future, I'll pass.
