We were staying at Artemisia Palace Hotel on Via Roma and Il Gusto Di Dionisio happened to be just around the corner, so we headed over. When we wandered in we found ourselves in a shop. Luckily it was also a lovely little wine bar. There 's a couple of tables at the top end where we relaxed with a nice glass of wine (or two). The friendly couple who run this place also made us a very nice sharing cheese and meat platter. The price was very reasonable. This won 't be the most lively place you 'll visit on a night out, we were the only ones there on a Tuesday night. But it 's definitely worth seeking out for an early evening chill out. It ended up being our favourite place in Palermo. Iain, London
If you want a good glass of wine accompanied by some small snacks, a plate of prosciutto and cheese this is your place! We wanted to have a small bite in the early evening and found the right place. Surrounded by exquisite bottles of wine, the Nero d'Avola and the Perricone tasted even better. I can also highly recommend the orange and fennel salad.
