Pizzeria Polleria Zummo - PALERMO

20 metres from our apartment lies a bakery, rotisserie and pizzeria. 11 euros bought a full roast chicken, fries, a selection of mini fritters and pizza bread, and large bottle of Coke. Tender chicken basted in oil olive and lemon dressing just melted in our mouths, and the others items were generously sized too. Very convenient and friendly after a long day's trip from Liverpool, and well worth a try. Great selection of pizzas, focaccia and other artisan breads too.

Pollo squisito! E tanti contorni che non deludono mai! Inoltre, la pizza cotta nel forno a legna è spettacolare!

Per gustare del cibo da asporto di ottima qualità, vi consiglio di fare visita a questo ristorante.

Ok, I am only a few days in Palermo, for a serious health issue. I booked a house, right opposite Porta Sant'Agata. I went out to eat something. A few meters away...Zummo. Typical italian outfit, with panninis, pollos pizzas. Perfect pizza. Diabola, or Margarita, or with pancetta... they are masters. Also cheap enough. ...and +1 point for la Nonna (most probably the owner), sitting next to the cashier.

The traders are lovely and very helpful, it's not very expensive and it's really very good! for 2 pizzas we paid 10 euros!
