I had the norma pasta, which was very nice, it could do with some vegetarian main dishes, but I found this to be limited in time when esaly, my partner had the tina court he loved. the cocktails we are amazing, we had the paloma and cuba libre both amaxing!
Brooklyn east coast ipa €5, crisp pint and a fantastic price. massive selection of drinks and dine in a fantastic environment, often with live music.
We had carbonara and pasta alla norma. both dishes were too good, and that was the best carbonara I ever had. we also got salmon tacos with pecorino cream while we waited. it was all so good, and I can't recommend it anymore!
We had a great moment in this bar restaurant we find it lately in our trip in palermo, but we finally found what we appreciate, the best bar to pass an evening with friends at this place. the variety of cocktails is amazing, well made (and we are exigent in the mix of alcohol,) eating is beautiful and cheap and the waitress we had for our two nights here was very gentle!
We were a bit disappointed with the main course we chose, as it did not look like the picture of the menu at all. We expected a dish of pasta with many cooked vegetables, whereas in the end, we got a dish of pasta with a tomato sauce with a few bits of other vegetables. Maybe there’s a difference between a summer and a winter card we did not know about ? Apart from that, we really loved the place! Very well located in the vivid hood of Via Maqueda/Vitto Emmanuele but a bit remote in a corner to enjoy a vivid and warm atmosphere but not as noisy as the main streets. The decoration is gorgeous outside with nice music and even more pleasant inside to have a drink or dinner. The staff was really kind and careful to us, despite the fact that we cannot speak Italian (we are French). A special thank to one of the waiter who speaks French (as he’s from Senegal) and took time to speak with us (and translate things). We definitely would come back to this place.
