Stella Di Coccia - PALESTRINA

The customer service sucked big time or I should just say there was no customer service at all. We walked into the restaurant and received a very cold treatment. We were hurried all through our stay. The restaurant was not properly heated and the dishes were old and stained. My worse eating out experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Had antipasto, primo and secondo. The tagliatelle with mushrooms were great, my daughter had tagliatelle all ammatriciana: I tasted them: excellent! The dishes were american sized: too much, so by the time the second arrived I was full. We had the lamb chops: excellent. The atmosphere is sad, old timers such as my dad love it, I am 50s do not like it, my daughter also thought it was sad looking place. Needs a renovation and smaller dishes. Price was reasonable.

We went to this restaurant because it`s the only one recommended by lonely planet is their guide..and now I know why!! Located on Stella Hotel, Coccia is a great opcion in Palestrina. We tasted linguini ai funghi porcini delicious!! , tortellini in brodo very nice also and scalopini..and antipasto was just amazing..they sent us aperitivo and fritti by the cheff made of spinacci, mozarella and alice buonooooo ...it`s not expensive at all and the service is just GREAT..the owners are there, taking care of every little detail, and the waiter -is truth he`s not young- is very kind and proffesional... It`s truth that it`s un po vecchio kind of old , but that`s what we search in places like Rome, or not???? They have chairs for kids, and patience!!

Città (Palestrina) meravigliosa, gente disponibile e gentile ovunque e come coronamento di questa meravigliosa mattinata: pasta fagioli e pesce al Ristorante Stella. Personale gentile, alla mano e molto cordiale; piatti ottimi e prezzi modici. Consigliato!!!

Piatti molto curati ed abbondanti, dolci al piatto eccezionali. Menzione specialità per la cortesia del personale. Consigliato decisamente.
