홍반장 팰팍 Hong Ban Jang Korean Chinese Palisades Park, Nj 홍반장

Visited around 5pm on a weekend and was empty right before dinner time. Filled up pretty quickly once we ordered our food. Ordered 간짜장, 짜장, 짜장 짬뽕 combo, and small 탕수육. 간짜장 and 탕수육 were amazing so should get that again when I go back. Portions were good too. Service was spectacular. We had young kids and they were really friendly and provided everything we needed without even asking. Would definitely come back.

Uses Green Cabbage rather than the proper mix taste of Asian cabbages chai/choy. Not enough veggies included.A hidden roach in between napkins did not help with dining experience. I realize it's an old place, but need some cleanup refresh.(The other place I just reviewed did not have these issues)

The food was great. Always had tofu soup, bibimbap, BBQ or fried chicken before. This Korean restaurant has quite different Korean style to offer. Ordered two noodles, black bean and seafood, both tasted pretty well. The fried pork was quite crispy. The only thing is all the menu on the wall are in Korean, and the staff only talks to you in Korean. But you won’t have any problem to order.

I have been here a few times and now it's my go to place for Korean style Chinese food in New Jersey. The service is quick and friendly. The food orders come out in a very timely fashion. My family is definitely a fan. The perfect korean style of good food in and out with smiling friendly service. Please don't change cause I love coming there.

Ordered (to-go) Fried Beef with sweet and sour sauce and they served rock-hard/over-fried beef so that you can’t even chew. They do not care about food quality. Please Stay away from this place. There are plenty of other options in the same area. (Ordered half and half deal and I spread out just the beef into the to-go noodle container for the picture).
