Green Valley Vista - Pallivasal

Green Valley Vista was by far our best accommodation and location that we enjoyed during a month in south India we wish we could have stayed for weeks. The room, with it's wall to wall, floor to ceiling windows looking out on the terrace, hills and valley, was perfect for us. Sitting on the terrace, sipping a cool beer and listening to the sound of every kind of colourful bird was itself a joy, and to see the sunrise from the same spot in the morning was beautiful, as the shaded layers of distant hills and peaks faded to the horizon. We loved the food, service was great and responsive and the manager, Manos (spelling? , was excellent and helpful, a really lovely fellow, who asked us when we left if we could think of anything that we could suggest to improve the hotel we thought really hard and couldn't honestly think of anything personally that would have improved our stay. The young lads Ravi and Mutu serving in the restaurant and all the other staff in the kitchen and throughout we're great. So much to see and do with organised trips but we also just looked forward to chilling on the terrace each day and enjoying the beauty. We miss it and the staff very much. Wonderful!

Had a lovely stay here, slightly out of Munnar (but in all honesty, Munnar town isn't that nice itself its the surrounding countryside that makes it awesome) Wonderful view, beautiful rooms, the tour center is around the corner and you get pick ups from here for them quite easily Overall great experience, loved it Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

Beautiful hotel made with taste! We fell in love with the wood work and the cosy atmosphere! Our room had one of the most beautiful view! The breakfast buffet was good and we also eat one night at their restaurant and the curry’s were delicious! If you want a proper Ayurvedic experience please go to the place they recommend for massages! The best massage of our lives so far!!! Gorgeous views from the balcony, extremely clean and nice rooms. The location required a lot of commute time to the Munnar hikes plantations, and the restaurant was very okay. However, the staff were helpful with planning excursions on our behalf, which was great (and seemingly required for Munnar tourism ven if you want to hike alone, like us, you are forced to hire a guide). But for the price I would definitely still stay there again!
