However, we didn 't know this was the Chuck E Cheese of the Breakers. It was packed with screaming kids. As soon as we walked in we saw a glass wall for the kids playing area to the right. That is the only downside to this place. The food and the service are excellent. If we do come back here, we would come back after 8 or 830. By then, all the families with kids had left and it was much quieter. For our prefix meals we ordered the Ceasar salad, fried calamari, and eggplant as appetizers. The entrees were two chicken parm and two of the white fish as entrees (I can 't remember which fish they served). And for dessert the almond cookies, chocolate chip cookies, and s 'more dessert. The ceasar salads were good, pretty standard. The fried calamari was excellent, good size portion, marinara sauce, and they were crispy. The eggplant was also excellent, not too tender and with great flavor. The chicken parm had a large cutlet of chicken and generous serving of spaghetti, it 's a ppt of food. I had half of it left over and took it home. The fish was cooked perfect and had a nice flavor. All the desserts were delicious, the almonds cookies were just the right amount of crumbly with incredible flavor, the chocolate chip cookies were soft and gooey. But the winner was the s 'more. Our servers were amazing. Come here for the food and quality of service. But come after 8 pm or order the food for take-away if you don 't want to deal with the kids.
The best birthday dinner ever for my wife. We opted for the September three course special for $65, which made it a great value! Started with perfectly made calamari and delicious eggplant rollatini. Main courses were home made sausage cappetelli and snapper picatta. Our waiter, Miguel, added cookies and ice cream to our desserts of s'mores pie and cannolis. What a treat for the next day as well. Great atmosphere right at The Breakers.
We are usually here 2 or 3 times a year for various friend’s or relative’s birthdays. Most of us have younger kids, so the playground just outside the entrance the video arcade a few steps from our table are basically our babysitters allow for a more relaxed atmosphere. The food is always between a 4 5 rating (out of 5) depending on what you order. Pasta dishes are a reliable 5. A bit pricey for families with several children but worth it if you’re only here on occasion like ourselves.
The Breakers in general is over-rated. When we were driving in, we were greeted by a rude security guard. Food and drinks were overpriced and the taste was not impressive. Our server though was really amazing which made our visit a five star!
We try to dine here every time we are at the Breakers. Our family of four (which includes two young kids) always leaves full and impressed with the service and food. Yes, it's spendy, but it's the Breakers and is to be expected (for all the price haters out there). And yes, it's in the family section of the property, so expect kids (which they are very patient and fun with). The bread and spread plate to start is such a nice way to start and the Mediterranean snapper has become a favorite of me and my husband. Kids portiins are generous and are easily shared. Kudos to the staff and kitchen crew for consistently delivering on fantastic quality!
