Burgster - Palm Beach

My husband and I had a great first experience at this restaurant, so we decided to book a table for four a few weeks later. However, we were very disappointed on our second visit. When we arrived, we told the host about our reservation but were only given the option of sitting near the kitchen or at an unmarked table outside. While the food and cocktails were still good, we were hoping for a more professional level of customer service and organization in the booking process.

The atmosphere at this restaurant was great! The service was excellent. However, I was a bit disappointed with the burger I ordered, the spicy chicken burger. The fried chicken fillet was tasty, but overall the flavor was just average and the burger was on the smaller side. I tried to spice it up by asking for a bottle of Tabasco I saw at the bar, but it didn't really enhance the taste.

I have had two different experiences that represent the extremes of my visits. One time, we were told our order would be ready in 40 minutes. We arrived just before that time, but were told it wasn't ready and would be another 5-10 minutes. After multiple delays, our order was finally ready, but only after a long wait. On another occasion, we were quoted a 25-minute wait time and arrived slightly late. Surprisingly, as we were getting out of the car, they called to say our order was ready. When we got home, the food was cold, the chips were undercooked, and the burgers were messy. Burgster can be really good when everything is in order, but for takeout, the experience is too inconsistent. When you're paying premium prices, consistency is key. I'm not writing this review to criticize them, as I genuinely enjoy their food and have had some great burgers. However, I've had too many experiences like the ones mentioned above. I hope this feedback helps them improve their systems and make their quoted wait times more accurate. It's better to wait for the food than the food waiting for you.

Trendy, tasty and top quality! My friends and I stumbled on Burgster after an Arvo on the beach and where pleasantly surprised by food and service. The staff where we are friendly, funny and made sure we are happy all the time. The cocktails where I am amazing and I'm kind of cheated that I didn't try them all. All meals where delicious and had good quality ingredients. The audience favourites at our table, where the Cheeseburger, Aranchini chicken Burger mmmm. A hidden treasure worth a visit!

Great burgers. Great pages. Excellent service. Beautiful location and ambience. A little from the main strip that's beautiful. Try the sides with the burgers.
