Casuelas Cafe - Palm Desert

After feeling disappointed by the Community Easter egg hunt, we were in the mood for Mexican food and stumbled upon this restaurant. It was absolutely perfect, delicious, and hit the spot. The food tasted authentic and my daughter especially loved the rice - she ended up finishing mine and her father's portions. Typically, I struggle to finish a meal but this time I ate every bite. To top it off, the 27 oz. margarita (grande) was amazing.

The restaurant has a fantastic ambiance and live music outdoors, but I deducted one star because my main course was left under the heat lamp for too long.

The food at this restaurant was delicious and the ambiance was pleasant. However, when my friend and I arrived, there was a large and very loud group inside that made it difficult for us to hear each other. Luckily, they left after about 15 minutes. The waitstaff were attentive and when I mentioned that my friend was celebrating a birthday, they brought out a delicious Mexican Flan for dessert.

Very yummy and hearty portions! Awesome service as well. We arrived around lunch with an impromptu part of 10. They were able to accommodate us quickly and get us all seated. Our food came out super quickly and everyone’s plate was delicious and accurate. Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a good, authentic bite!

The live Music it’s very entertaining. Food portions are very large and the food is really good and not too expensive.
