Eddie V's Palm Desert

Our private room was perfect. our server matt was excellent. our food was great too.

Birthday. My experience on prior occasions has been that when informed Eddie B would acknowledge in some way. Not this time. In addition, while the food quality was very good and the server quite engaging and friendly, once he served dinner he was no where to be seen. I even had to waive him down to pay for the check after waiting for an unreasonable time to locate him. Furthermore, the busboys were totally disinterested in keeping the water glasses full. I had to ask at least two times for this and when the water glasses were near empty. Finally, no soap to wash hands when using rest room. Not very happy about this considering that the costs of dining there is not cheap!

Dining in the desert doesn’t get any better than this place. The rooms are spectacular, the entertainment is always exciting., The wait staff are professional and friendly and even unforgettable – ask for Patrick or Jonathan or Moise and you can’t go wrong. And, oh yeah, the food is flat out delicious. They serve the best steaks in the area which are always the right temperature. The South African lobster tails are sweet and tender and always perfectly prepared. Every fish is served fresh and accompanied by a spot on the side dishes. Their salads are fresh and perfectly dressed. You’ll never forget the crabcakes which are divine and the bananas foster which the ignite table-side is a perfect finish to an invariably fantastic dinner. We’ve been back time and time again and can’t wait to return. A big shout out to this chain restaurant for acting like a one and only original.

Arrived at 4:45 because we had a 7:00 event. We were the only ones in the dining room, but told the waiter we needed to be out by 6:30. Never thought it would be a problem…but our cocktails took 10 minutes to arrive. Water and delicious warm bread was served but it was cold before we got any food to go with it. We ordered oysters which were great, and our meals came out in a timely manner. Food was wonderful, but once our plates were cleared we had to wait and wait to order desert and coffee. After that it was more waiting before the desert arrived and even longer before our coffee and Port. In fact we we’re already finished with desert and it was 6:45. Two hours! Our waiter took the desert etc off the bill which is a good thing since I didn’t have time to drink my glass of Port. A very frustrating experience for my husband on his birthday.

Our favorite spot in the desert! The food, service and ambiance are always amazing! Never disappoints.
