Faceless Samurai - Palm Harbor

This place would get more stars if it would let me. It’s a small but decorated to take you to Japan. Staff is super friendly. The sushi melts in your mouth, which is how fresh sushi should be. Everything we had all the flavors on point. Nothing was over seasoned or under seasoned and fresh. This is definitely one of my favorite Japanese places in the area. “itadakimasu”!

Very disappointing sushi spot. My volcano roll was topped with imitation krab, which for the price I expected real fish on top. They were overall very stingy with their fish amount. Save your money for Umai Cafe in Clearwater.

I didn’t even know this place existed even though I live right down the street. I’m kicking myself for not finding Faceless Samurai earlier.I went in for a quick lunch and was greeted by the owner Duke (not sure if that’s how you spell his name). There is nothing I appreciate more than warm hospitality and that’s exactly what I got from the second I walked in.I ordered my favorite sushi, Salmon Skin Rolls. I can tell you that I haven’t had anything that I would even consider decent in any other sushi restaurant in the USA, including Nobu.This was without hesitation the absolute best salmon skin roll I have had.The spicy tuna roll I had was also delicious. This isn’t your regular sushi restaurant. It’s incredible. The prices are extremely decent and you’ll love he atmosphere. Don’t let the shopping plaza exterior deceive you. It’s beautiful inside.I can’t wait to go back for more. That’s how you know it’s a great place, I’m already planning the next visit before I even left!

Unprecedented wait times. Be prepared to wait forever for your food when you're dining in. They seem to be busy filling up online orders with dire dereliction of in-house customers. Food was average in small quantities. Take away might be a better choiceFood: 4/5

I can't believe I've been living in this area for over three years and have just now made it here! The food, service, and atmosphere are all exceptional. The tuna salad in the bento box was incredible, and both the chicken katsu and the hangover roll were delicious. I've just discovered my new favorite Japanese restaurant! Food: 5/5
