Bit Of Country - Palm Springs

I really had high hopes for this place first visit had the Eggs Benedict the English muffin was not toasted or grilled all mushy otherwise would have been perfect l couldn’t send back because no one checked back my second visit was Bisque gravy l asked for 1/2 B G and link sausage l received some slop with a sausage patty again no one checked on me. The hosts are excellent the servers need training terrible both times the food is probably good if they can get your order correct. Nice outside seating

The food was ok. Not worth the price though. $4 for a terrible cup of coffee? Biscuits and gravy was very bland. I’m not understanding the good reviews there. Service was not great. When we got our food server never stopped by to see how things were. Finally when he did come by it was to drop of our check without a word. I had to stop him to ask for water. Talk about a very unwelcome environment.

I highly recommend reading this review if your considering going to this place. The minute we walked in the energy already felt very negative. None of the staff hardly even spoke a word to us, not even when they were taking our order. Our table wasn’t checked on one time, but they still somehow managed to make us feel extremely rushed. They didn’t ask if we wanted anything else, just brought us our check and walked away. I would completely understand if the place was packed but there were hardly any customers. Maybe a total of 3 tables. The food was really low quality, especially for being the price that it was. Because of all these reasons I left a small tip when honestly I don’t think they deserved one at all. When We left, something felt really off and I even said to my husband that I felt like they were going to adjust the tip we had given. SURE ENOUGH, the transaction finally posted and they DEFINITELY adjusted the tip. There was absolutely no way they didn’t. When we contacted the manager, he could honestly care less, didn’t even apologize for our experience or the fact that someone had adjusted the tip.

If you want a decent or even edible Eggs Benedict DO NOT COME HERE. The eggs Benedict they have in the photos on this page is a stock photo, looks nothing like My eggs Benedict which was over cooked with hard boiled eggs, a mystery sour clumpy hollandaise sauce, on top of burnt ham and stale bread. Most of the ratings here are fake, there is absolutely NO WAY people willingly gave this place 4 stars.

Best French toast I’ve ever had! Great view from the patio. Very reasonably priced. Service was fantastic!
