Went through Casteneda's drive-thru in Palm Springs on Ramon Rd around 11:30pm 7/31/2023. I odered the #11 which was 2 fish tacos with rice and beans. I got home, and while eating my 2nd taco I felt something sharp pierce my gum while chewing. I spit out my food and there was a piece of serrated metal. It looked like a chipped knife or a jagged razer, thin with many sharp points. I took my food back to show them and ask for a refund, this time deciding to go inside. I parked, got out of my car and saw a rat running along the wall outside while approaching the building. I paid with a card but they gave me a refund in cash. The women (cashier) appolgized but the cook (a man) did not. She offered to remake my food or give me a drink but I declined. I will never go back. I told them had someone swallowed what was in my food it may have been life threatening. I will not be returning and will be telling friends and family to refrain from visiting this place as well.

Who says ground beef isn’t ready? It takes 5 minutes to make. First I order from Uber from them and Uber can’t complete the order for some reason so I decide to drive 5 miles to just order there then they can not make my order. I will never order from them again. Horrible. They obviously don’t need business.

There was a mix-up with my order and they went way above and beyond to complete my order and we're extremely friendly.

Dated restaurant, could use a face-lift and some sprucing up inside. The staff is probably one of the cooler staff, working all hours of the day and night. Popular 24 hr. fast food joint downtown PS is packed during the later hours....nothing else open. The food is alright. It's better if you have had some alcohol. But hey, we're lucky to have it!???
