Tac/quila - Palm Springs

My coworkers and I flew to Palm Springs for a conference and this restaurant came up as a must try. We were very happy to try it, but highly recommended making a reservation since we went on a Tuesday night and it was packed. There's plenty of free parking in the back. The ambiance and decoration was awesome. They have a patio upfront as well as in the back. Not too snooty but a cozy, vibrant elegant vibe. Our service was fantastic as well as the presentation. The margaritas were phenomenal as well. I got the flight, about 4 oz pour of Pineapple Passion, Spicy Blackberry, Watermelon, Kiwi margaritas $24.00). Which is perfect if you want to try all of them. The food was really good. Some better than others though. We tried the carne asada, a smaller portion but perfectly seasoned and cooked. We had to send back the aguachile, my coworker who makes this said it was slimey and limey. The vegan Cochinita pibil was also not a hit with my vegan coworker. However the Mexican elote and flan were phenomenal. Overall we would definitely come back and try other dishes.

Loved this place! Food was delicious (LOVED the avocado creama! Staff was super friendly and service was great. We will definitely come here again the next time we're in town!

A good choice for lunch in Palm Springs! Super tasty, beautifully prepared Mexican food. I had the street enchiladas and they were absolutely delicious. Service was a little slow, but I really liked the ambiance of this place. Great patio dining options, and even the indoor portions of the restaurant are quite open-air, with walls that be open or closed depending on the weather. Very pleasant.

The amount of food that you get can be overwhelming. I would suggest starting slowly and adding as you go. The drinks and signature cocktails are not only delicious, but presented gracefully. The Mexican food cannot be beat. Hands-down cannot be beat.
