Alaska State Fair Inc - Palmer

Literally so fun, great food (it's very very spendy but that's just part of the package) lots of cute bunnies and cows and pigs and giant pumpkins and beautiful flowers

We were up on a vacation and were lucky enough to be able to hit the alaskan state fair with our free day. Growing up in minnesota which many people claim is the best state fair in the country I will be the first to say Alaskas is right on par, in my mind better. We went on a saturday and while there was a lot of people it wasnt so congested you cant barley get around like MNs. The food was great, at least everything we had was very delicious. We had spinach bread, raindeer sausage elote dogs, halibut, and more and all was delicious. There was many great local artists with great work and plenty of other things to do and see. Our favorite game was the rat roulette which was a crowd favorite, if you have to ask you need to see it for yourself. The overall experience was great. Much better than MNs, better food, better temperatures, etc. Will go again if im ever back.

I enjoyed the fair with the family of course it is mostly for my daughter but we all enjoy certain things. I watched the beard competition this year instead of the lumberjack show. Definitely a new experience about beards. The family enjoys the produce and livestock displays. My daughter gets a little braver each year with the rides. And we all enjoyed the super fattening tasty fair vendor foods. It's getting to be rather expensive to attend for just one day but thankfully it's only once a year.

I had a great time for my first time going! The deep fried oreos were great, and the steak sandwiches from grandma's were amazing, and so was the service. I plan to go again next year since I didn't get to ride the rides.

We've been to this Fair twice now while in town. So fun! Love all the booths and yummy food. We ate all the things. Ruben Sandwiche was the best but we had 2 orders of the corn cakes with honey butter.
