Delivery took an hour on a weekday night?? Pizza was soggy and not even cut... very bland. Not impressed at all
Not the greatest pizza, but far from the worst. Pretty sure they used to be Little Caesar's and either lost or dropped the franchise to become their own company with the same or very similar) product. Their pizza crust is fluffy which I like), but pretty greasy. Unless they are SUPER busy, they will slam out your pizza in 10-15 minutes from ordering to pickup, which is a definite plus when you're hungry and in a hurry. Service is pretty good, with polite folks that make sure your order is right and are quick to fix it if they make a mistake which is rare in my experience). My biggest complaint is that their menu is really limited and they don't stay open very late 9pm on weekdays, 10pm on weekends). Also, you can get really cheap $10) pizza there if you use their specials...but if you change anything or add on any extras, the total price can double or triple FAST without adding much quantity). They offer delivery and they bring orders promptly...with the drawback of them having a limited delivery area only a few miles outside of Palmer). They blow Sicily's and Papa Murphy's away in terms of taste, but for REALLY good pizza, Humdinger's or Pizza Ria Delphi are better offerings.
When I just want cheap fast pepperoni pizza, Great Alaska Pizza company never disappoints, but to be fair that's just what it is. They're better than Sicily's pizza for sure.
I remember this exact pizza from my childhood in Prague, Czech Republic, when there was a little pizzeria I went to with my mum very often. Through years they seemed to have more and more struggle, I couldn't figure out why but eventually they closed and we never had the chance to taste this american pizza again there was never a similar place like that. But now I visited Great Alaska Pizza, had the pepperami and bam, there I was again as a kid : I totally loved it. The place isn't much, there are only two chairs to sit on, but the taste, to me, is epic, and a very good price. Only thing I couldn't understand was why did the guy charge us 10.99 for a large pizza when he was surrounded by posters of that very pizza costing just 9.99. I'm not going to freak out over a dollar, so I didn't even bother asking but still, kinda strange thing. Could it be the box that we never asked for? We never said we wanted a takeaway and he never asked. Well whatever but it makes you wonder for a second.
