Cafe Ignition - Palmerston North

Great coffee and food! I expected a bit more bacon with my bacon and eggs, but perhaps they were running low that day.

The food presentation was quite disappointing, and the quality of the ingredients felt very low. To make matters worse, there was a mix-up with the coffee. On a positive note, the staff were really lovely.

The staff here are wonderful, but unfortunately, I can't say the same for the food. The lasagna and salad, priced at $19.50, was perhaps the most overpriced and bland dish I've ever encountered. The filling was a flavorless minced meat squished between layers of rubbery pasta—certainly not what I would call lasagna. The accompanying side of Worcestershire sauce seems to indicate that the chef is aware of the dish's lack of flavor. I can only imagine how upset Italians would be to see their classic dish treated this way. Surely there's a higher standard for airport food!

Overpriced horrible food and coffee. Couldn't get more basic $1 bread with 2 eggs $15 .....
