We went to the weekday dinner in the agriturismo and everything was amazing! the salate are incredible and the lobster was so good! on Friday night at veranda is happy to come back for her live music!
I never made reviews, but it was worth noting. we visit connecticut and someone recommended we go to serenbe so that I have a reservation for dinner at agriturismo. we are used to come to table where we live and are never disappointed. the ambiente was nice on a Friday night live music good service. the brot and the salted butter were delicious. the apps were okay? but the main course I ordered was lamm, which came with a mysterious green sauce on the top, which was not in the description I was asking what it was and was told to a Demi glacier that not what I told the server, but I tasted it anyway and it tasted like cleaned out a clear gallen aroma that is unmistakable. I sent it back (what I never do). at this point I trusted nothing to come out of the kitchen and although they offered a dessert on the house, my man and I were skeptical. a manager should come before we (not my question, but ok) and they never showed. we have gone and will never go back. I would not recommend this facility. I really wanted to like it.
A terrible culinary experience. he started with a dirty martini that was unimaginable. it was literally more olive juice than wodka. my wife had a speciality margarita, which was just as terrible because it was so full of bitterness. the bark carpaccio appetizer was delicious, but tiny and not worth the $24 it costs. we both had the grouper who was insulting. the taste was beautiful, but the fish was a little overdue and literally about 2 ounces each. the accompanying purée and saccotash was about half an ounce. these were each $48 and let us both starve. we had to literally leave the restaurant and go to dinner in another restaurant. we had no wine, only a terrible drink, no dessert and left the restaurant extremely hungry after paying a $210 check. I felt like a straight robbery. I will not be back and would never recommend this restaurant to others!
The Farmhouse is an extraordinary experience. Beautiful dining room and excellent wait staff. The menu is an outstanding reflection on Southern cuisine. My mushroom bisque was great. Unfortunately, my porkchop was overcooked so they don't get five stars. (I really should have sent it back. My friend ordered the same entree and his chop was cooked to perfection. I would definitely recommend dining here. My overcooked meat will not deter me from returning!
