Rising Sun Kitchen - PALMYRA

The food was excellent, as was the service. The only thing, music, is definitely too loud for the dining area. Absolutely will be going back if just for the nachos.

Ok. So. It's been awhile since I rated anything but the rising sun is definitely the place to go to. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is very nice. It's quaint and cozy. And the food, omg. Just absolutely delicious. I got the salmon, bokchoy, broccoli and ginger. He got 5 cheese pasta with chicken and for dessert we split a peanut butter pie. All was to die for. Definitely deserves more then a 5 star but thats all I could do. And it is a bit pricey but totally worth it.

The Rising Sun is one of the best restaurant/bars in the area. Great service, great food, and great atmosphere. They also have one of the best happy hours around. They are continuously improving their restaurant and just recently opened an outdoor dining/bar area. This should be a regular spot for you.

Place is amazing. The atmosphere is fantastic. Food was really good. Service not so great. Waited almost 20 minutes at least from the time I got my drink at the bar until we requested from the bartender asking if we may order some food. We were never checked on....kind of wishing we would have waited to be seated for the outside dining which looked really nice rather than sitting at the bar right away.

We were visiting Hershey for a baseball tournament and stopped at the Rising Sun Bar and Kitchen for lunch on Saturday, and everything was so delicious. The food was fresh and tasty, too. The atmosphere was so very cool and an old build that had beautiful architecture with exposed beams.The staff was friendly and attentive too.We enjoyed it so much that we went back today for lunch again and brought another baseball family with us. They also enjoyed everything, too. We had a different waitress today, and she was also awesome. The waitress from Saturday saw us and remembered and stopped to say hello and thanked us for coming back so soon. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try if you're in the Hershey area.
