Very nostalgic, hearty place with great sandwiches and fabulous ice! (had the turkey sandwich and chocolate ice cream). recommend in any case

By chance they find on the way to a jobsite . I have the emma favorite sandwich. it was really hard to find spots like these days.

We always go here at least once when we visit palo alto. the breakfast is always excellent. their cinnamon rolls are especially special. during lunch, their milk shakes are the best. three generations in my family love to eat on the half island creamery

I don't eat ice, but sometimes I come for a burger. this seems to be one of the last places on the half island, where they are an eastern bay style independent burger mountains. the pattys are quite big, the girl said they were third pfund, I believe it. you can't get rid of here, but I guess it's more of an ice-laden and deli than everything.

Great place where the milkshakes are very delicious and I recommend the chipotle sandwich
