The wait staff were all friendly, and they ran around just trying to keep up with the constant crush of people coming in. The food was great. We started with a complimentary stir fried edamame (for the wait) and that was really tasty. The brussel sprouts that came next was also well executed, good flavor and perfectly cooked. We ordered the Tori Udon which is one of the chef's recommendations, and we were not disappointed. Very flavorful soup stock served piping hot. The fresh handmade Udon was very chewy. The mochi donut holes were also on the house because they felt bad about the wait, so overall I feel like they are really trying hard and doing their best by the customers. Will come back again and try their other flavors.
This was my first time. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the food was great! We enjoyed everything we ate. The ordering is done on iPads which I liked a lot. Would definitely come here again.
The bento is quite a good deal. For $16, you receive quality unagi and really tasty chicken karaage (though it's not the traditional style). The udon is cooked al dente, which is nice, but the flavor is just okay; I've had better before.
Absolutely delicious! The prices are quite reasonable, and the staff is incredibly friendly. As someone who's Japanese and particular about Japanese cuisine, I would give it 4.5 stars if I could, but since I can’t do half stars, I’ll just round it up. Highly recommended!
I visited Taro San for the first time and ordered the Nikh Udon with beef. The dish was good, but I highly recommend asking for their spices to enhance the flavor. I'm excited to return and try other dishes.
